Shenandoah is the light and joy of my life. I have been blessed with
WONDERFUL dogs, each possessing their own special talents. When I
brought Jordan home from Sue’s house, it was with the goal of having a
competition obedience dog. While I have yet to realize that dream,
Shenandoah brings that desire and fire to the arena. She is my perfect
performance partner, matching my personality in every way. She is extremely smart, willing to please and has the stamina to perform
for days at a time. Channeling such energy in a youngster was a
challenge. However, it has been worth every minute, both in her
outstanding work and the love for life that she renews in me. She is the
ultimate partner.
Shenandoah finished her championship with four majors at an early
age. However, this was a short-lived career, as she had many other
venues to explore. She is currently working on her utility title, her
rally advanced excellent title, and her junior hunter title.
She
will begin to compete in agility when one of the other venues is
completed. At the 2007 IWSCA specialty, she distinguished herself by
placing first in Rally Advanced, first in Rally Excellent and fourth in
Open B. Now nearing the age of 5, Shen is like a fine wine just coming
into her own.
